Accidents & Illness
Children who are not well are not to be sent to school as they are a health risk to the school community.
In cases of illness or injury, notification is given to the student’s parents/guardian who are required to make immediate arrangements to have the child picked up. Should the parents/guardian not be available, the emergency contact, as listed on the registration form, will be notified.
In emergencies, the school may have the student transported to hospital via BC ambulance service.
The general health of the student, including immunization, is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
